Equipping Homeless Women for Independence

As needed, we publish
a short story about one or more
of our residents in need
of our prayers.

Program

We also email these prayer requests to those who subscribe to our PrayerNet email list. The Lord will direct each of you as you pray for this person. We encourage you to forward it to others who love to pray.

If you, or others you know, are interested in hearing about our women and their children, please email us by clicking on this PrayerNet link.

PrayerNet September 2011

So many of the moms who come here are separated from their children. There is no easy solution for them; each situation is quite complex. We ask your prayers for God’s will to be clearly seen in each of these lives.

Please pray for... Rachel and Sophie

Why We Do What We Do ...

“This is why we’re here!” Our program manager smiles as she hangs up the phone. A former resident, who is coming for a visit, can’t wait to share all her progress with us. So many things she began while here have come to fruition.

  • She has permanent housing with Section 8,
  • She is in her second quarter at Bellevue College
  • Her CPS case will be closed this month
  • She loves being a mom
  • The relationship with her mother and step-dad is much healthier
  • She has maintained complete sobriety

It is a wonderful reminder that we are sowing hope into people’s lives.

Thank you for your partnership in sending residents off feeling equipped for independence and with the knowledge that they are loved!

Many Thanks and Blessings!
M Jackie Gould
